This report highlights key findings from the Youth Excel Implementation Research activities aimed at addressing barriers to youth engagement in agriculture and promoting sustainable agribusiness practices in Marsabit county, Kenya. The research, conducted over two rounds, 22nd to 31st July and 22nd to 29th October, provides critical insights into youth perceptions, mentorship models, gender dynamics, technological challenges, and practical solutions to enhance youth participation in agricultural ventures. Key findings center around the topics of mentorship and peer learning, gender and inclusion, technology gaps, access to resources, key challenges, and perceptions surrounding agricultural livelihoods.
